Preheat oven to 180°C.
In a frying pan, sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil. Add the ground beef and cook until golden.
Add the tomato sauce, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for 10 minutes.
In a bowl, combine the ricotta and half the Parmesan.
Stuff the cannelloni with the mixture.
Arrange the cannelloni in a dish, pour the tomato sauce over them and sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan.
Bake for 25 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown.
Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
