In a bowl, mix the soft butter with the powdered sugar until creamy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, then mix again. Mix in the flour and salt to form a smooth dough.
Take a small amount of dough (about 20 g) and shape it into a thin finger. Use a knife to make small cuts to imitate the folds of skin.
Push an almond onto the tip of each finger to represent the nail.
Preheat oven to 180°C (Gas mark 6). Place the fingers on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 20 minutes until lightly golden.
While the fingers are baking, melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave. After baking, let the cookies cool, then place a small amount of melted chocolate at the base of each almond to imitate blood.
Once the chocolate has set, the cookies are ready to eat!
Tip
🍫 For an even more terrifying touch, color the melted chocolate with a little red food coloring to imitate even more realistic blood! 🩸
