🇧🇷 A delicious Brazilian preparation of mushrooms, mashed cassava and coconut milk, spiced up with spices and herbs, for an exotic, flavorful taste experience. 🍄

Heat the olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
Add the chopped garlic and sauté for a minute until fragrant.
Stir in the chopped mushrooms. Sauté for a few minutes until lightly browned.
Add the cassava puree and coconut milk to the pan. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
Season with turmeric, sweet paprika, cumin, salt and black pepper. Simmer over low heat for about 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Just before serving, add the lime juice, chopped coriander and malagueta pepper or red pepper flakes if you like.
Serve the hot mushroom bobó with white rice and, if desired, cassava flour sprinkled on top.
Tip
For an even more exotic variation, replace the mushrooms with hearts of palm for a unique texture and different taste. 🌴
