Preheat your oven to 180°C.
Unroll the puff pastry and cut into thin strips about 1 cm wide.
Wrap each sausage in the strips of dough, leaving a small opening at the end for the eyes.
Place the wrapped sausages on a baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
During baking, you can add the edible eyes to give the appearance of spooky mummies.
Once cooked, remove the mummies from the oven and use ketchup to create eyes on each mummy if you haven't already added them.
Serve hot with ketchup or your favourite sauce.

🎃👁️ Add dried herbs like oregano or thyme to the dough for extra flavor. For an even spookier effect, use a small dab of puff pastry to create additional "bandages" around the mummies before baking. And if you like it crunchy, brush the pastry with a beaten egg mixture before baking! 🧄👻
