Pour the red wine, cognac and triple sec into the pitcher.
Add the orange and lemon slices, as well as the diced apple and peach.
Sprinkle with sugar and stir gently with the wooden spoon to combine the ingredients.
Cover the pitcher with cling film and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (ideally overnight) to allow the flavors to blend.
Just before serving, add lemon soda or lemonade to add effervescence to the sangria.
Place a few ice cubes in each glass, then pour the sangria over the top.
Garnish with a sprig of mint (optional) for a touch of freshness.
Tip
❄️ For an extra touch of freshness, try adding fruit-shaped ice cubes to your sangria! Use special ice cube molds to create ice cubes in the shape of orange, lemon or other fruit slices for a fun, summery presentation. 🍊🍋
